I am an assistant professor of medicine, specialized in treating HIV/AIDS. I am currently on the faculty at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, in the Institute of Human Virology.
I was born in London, England, and grew up in California (both north and south). My father was from Sri Lanka, and my mother is American. I am a typical American mutt – mixed in blood, and experience and outlook.
This blog was initially started to post photos of my travels to Africa and elsewhere, but it’s become a place to post random thoughts…now, mostly about our multinational family – English, American, Ethiopian!
I have a virology blog, called ViroMag, it was initially formatted as a weekly Virology Magazine, but now I post every day, I hope you visit my blog, and I’d appreciate if you give me what you think, as you are an expert I think
interesting – what is the URL of your blog? i’d be interested to take a look…
